The Club

No such thing as the woman they told you to be. No such thing as the practice that fixes it. There is, however, a club.

This is it. Every week there's a new prompt or poll. Answer in the comments, and read what everyone else said. Some are funny. Some will wreck you.

Got something you can't say anywhere else? Say it here, without your name on it.

House rules

  1. No names. Not yours, not your mother-in-law's, not your kid's teacher's. Leave out anything that could point to a real person.
  2. If she asked to vent, don't fix it. Just Venting posts get witnesses, not advice.
  3. No silver linings. No "at least," no "everything happens for a reason," no "have you tried gratitude."
  4. Advice here is what worked for you, not a diagnosis.
  5. No selling. No links, no "DM me," no opportunities.
  6. Mean doesn't post. Disagree with the idea, not the woman.
  7. Sign your comment with any name you want, and leave the email and website boxes blank. I read every comment before it goes up, so give it a day.

It's not therapy. If you need therapy, I'll say so, and I'll help you find it.

Take what works. Skip what doesn't.

If it's more than a bad day

This page isn't watched around the clock. These are, and they're free.

Not ready for a person yet

Ready to say it to a person

I don't do silver linings. One Conversation is an hour with me, and the intake form has one question: what's the thing?
